ODSP is messing with my life!

Ok, I should probably explain that since I've moved into the new place I haven't ben able to pay my rent on time.  The reason for this is that ODSP has decided to stop giving me direct-deposit and started giving me cheques.  They've done this because they had no record of me reporting my income for the month of October 2008.  I did report my income, but since it was exactly the same as September's income, they had no record of it!  So ODSP cancelled my income support, until I contacted them, which I did right away, and instead of doing direct deposit they gave me a late cheque for December.  Then again for January's income support, they give me a cheque, which I can only cash at an ATM since it's Christmas time, and then there was a hold on it for 4-6 business days (which is bank-speak for 2 weeks on Christmas).  This meant that for the second month in a row I had to pay my rent late.  The hold was released on January 2nd 2009, and I paid my rent (including $10 late fee) then, but forgot to phone my landlord to tell her I sent it to her.  So today I get a letter giving me two options, either pay double this month so I'm always ahead, or I'm out on my ass the next time I'm late!  That of course is a paraphrase, but it doesn't bode well for me.  I hope when I talk to ODSP tomorrow that they will explain all of this in a letter to my landlord so I don't get kicked out!

jSymphonic

There's a project on sourceforge.net that I'm invovled with, it's called Symphonic.  You can find it here. It's for uploading music to a Sony Network Walkman.
